CEROBEAR offers a full range of bearing cages (retainers), manufactured from a wide variety of standard and advanced materials, processed by conventional machining techniques like five-axis-milling or advanced manufacturing technology like additive manufacturing.

Whatever material or production technology is chosen, due to our perfectly adjusted, frozen processes, we are able to guarantee the utmost process stability. Our state-of-the-art machinery and production technology guarantees perfect manufacturing precision and our most modern production planning system a full traceability of every single part and component.

We are able to manufacturer all kinds of cage designs, inner ring, outer ring or rolling element riding, featuring plain pockets or self-holding designs, in the dimensions of 6 mm to 500 mm and batch sizes of 3 to 5000 pieces.

The list of available cage materials comprises:

  • PEEK, various grades, virgin and filled
  • Fluoropolymer, various grades
  • Polyimide (PI), various grades
  • Polyamide-imide (PAI)
  • Phenolic
  • Steel, various grades, high-temperature and corrosion resistant, bright or silver plated
  • Brass
  • Aluminum-bronze

In addition CEROBEAR actively is working on the development of cages manufactured by additive manufacturing to reduce weight and realize design not possible so far for bearing cages.
